Karen Gunnarsdóttir

Having recently graduated from Nord University with a BA in multimediatechnology, focusing on sound engineering, I am looking forward to working within the media industry, improving my skills and growing as a professional.

From a young age, I have always been drawn to music and sounds in general. As a result, I enrolled in a musicl school at the tender age of 8. After playing the clarinet for 12 years and experimenting with classical guitar, piano and saxophone, I passed final examination in classical singing in the spring of 2013. Additionally, I passed all mandatory courses in music theory, history and related subjects.

During my college years in Iceland, I focused on the fine arts and graduated with matriculation examination in the spring of 2010. Two years later, in 2012, I received an artist grant recipient from the young artists Encouragement fund of Garðabær, Iceland.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing music, watching movies and painting.
